Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is a 4-year undergraduate program affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in pharmaceutical sciences, including drug discovery, formulation development, pharmacological evaluation, and the application of sophisticated instruments used in the pharmaceutical industry.
Technical Skills:
The program provides in-depth knowledge of the usage of various laboratory equipment and simulation software used to perform experiments related to synthesis, drug design, pharmaceutical analysis, pharmacological evaluation, and formulation development.
Modern Tool Usage:
Students gain an understanding of modern techniques, models, and software used for prediction, interpretation, and analysis of data generated in pharmaceutical processes such as formulation development, quality assurance, and quality control.
Research and Development:
The program develops the ability to identify problems, apply critical thinking, and provide rational solutions across different disciplines of pharmaceutical sciences and technology.
The course also emphasizes practical-based learning, enabling students to apply concepts of manufacturing, formulation development, pharmaceutical analysis, drug design, medicinal chemistry, and quality control in the discovery and development of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products.
